Chapter History
We're the Risk Research Institute, Inc, dba the New York Chapter of RIMS. We were incorporated in 1934. That's right, 1934. The Risk and Insurance Management Society split off from our little company, to become the present day RIMS International. Look where the child has come!
Since we're New Yorkers, we tend to think highly of ourselves. We're the biggest, oldest, and maybe the most financially stable Chapter of RIMS. Our eight monthly breakfast meetings draw up to 160 members and guests. Our speakers are often newsworthy leaders in the insurance community. Hope to see you at a meeting!
